Forest’s first flagship store opens at Paragon, Singapore

On 20 November 2020, FOREST opened the doors to its flagship store at Paragon, welcoming a bevvy of excited guests and customers. After two years of growing a loyal online following, this marks a significant step forward for the brand.

Ever since its inception in 2018, FOREST has made a name for itself with its fine-quality silk scarves and luxurious brooches. In December 2020, as a show of commitment towards the green movement, FOREST started using only sustainably-sourced silk and cashmere for their scarves. It halted all sales of products made with polyester.

Drawing inspiration from the harmony within a forest environment, the brand strives to create accessories that are alive with colour and vibrance. The scarves are made with top-grade mulberry silk – renowned for its smooth, delicate texture and its distinctive lustrous sheen – and are a showcase of fine artistry. The mulberry silk scarf range is made with a screen-printing technique and a hand-rolled hem finishing for the edge of the scarf. FOREST also carries a range of luxurious winter scarves that are made of silk but with the texture of wool.

As a complement to the scarves, FOREST also offers a wide array of whimsical brooches. Made with pure brass and coated with platinum or 24k gold, these brooches are free from harmful materials such as lead, cadmium or nickel. This is in line with FOREST's new direction, which is to move towards being a more environmentally- and socially-conscious brand.

In January 2021, the brand will be introducing its first men's collection, with a selection of silk pocket squares and elegant cufflinks that is sure to jazz up any outfit. FOREST will also be releasing new collections for the upcoming Lunar New Year.
